SINGAPORE- Pizza Hut Singapore has appointed Juliana Lim as General Manager, heading its operations in the country.
Lim’s appointment follows the official retirement of Paddy Rangappa, who headed Pizza Hut’s operations in Singapore for six years.
Lim is considered a business and marketing veteran in the food and beverage industry. She served as KFC’s Senior Director of marketing and innovations for close to seven years before joining Pizza Hut.
Juliana is considered an excellent choice for the position within Pizza Hut SE and market analysts, owing to her familiarity with the Pizza Hut brand, as exemplified by her performance as Senior Marketing Director for KFC Singapore for nearly a decade.
The veteran marketer also held high-ranking positions at Sara Lee and Fonterra, where she contributed to and oversaw various marketing and brand enhancement initiatives before her current appointment.
Nehchal Khanna, CEO of QSR Brands (M) Holdings Berhad, expressed optimism over Lim’s appointment, saying, “Juliana has grown with our Pizza Hut and KFC brands in Singapore and achieved much over her near two decades with us.”

QSR Brands (M) Holdings Berhad owns and operates over 700 KFC outlets in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, and Cambodia, as well as more than 500 Pizza Hut outlets in Singapore and Malaysia.
She replaces another food and beverage veteran, with 26 years experience before his retirement.
He started his career at Proctor & Gamble in Singapore, India, and Indonesia, working there for more than a decade before he became Executive Vice President for Brand development in McDonald’s Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa (APMEA). He was then appointed Pizza Hut SE’s GM.
Juliana welcomed the move by saying, “I am humbled and excited to return to the Pizza Hut brand after nine years and be allowed to participate in the growth and transformation journey of such an iconic brand.”
