CANADA – Earls Restaurant Group is set to launch Earls King West in Toronto, Ontario, in Canada.
The new restaurant, located at the intersection of King and Portland, will feature a spacious 10,000ft² layout with three outdoor patios including a rooftop option, and a solarium.
The upcoming Earls King West can accommodate 110 guests in the upstairs solarium and 172 on the main floor, which includes sidewalk and streetside seating.
Guests will be able to look at the King West skyline while enjoying a menu crafted by chef David Wong to cater to the local palate.
It includes dishes such as Yuzu Calamari, Queen Bee Pizza, the Sesame Citrus Noodle Bowl, the Seafood Tower, Truffle Parmesan Chicken and Angry Chicken Lettuce Wraps.
The restaurant’s beverage selection will offer cocktails such as the Crystal Margarita and the White Peach Whiskey Sour.
Earls Restaurant Group chief brand officer Kristin Vekteris said: “Earls King West stands as a testament to the area’s rich history and contemporary allure, situated in the epicentre of Toronto’s social and cultural scene.
“With Earls King West being our 70th location in North America, we’re excited to celebrate this milestone with our most unique location yet and welcome the community to experience the essence of King West like never before.
“With our expansive space and stunning patio views, we aim to create a casual yet sophisticated dining experience that pays homage to the heritage of the building with the classic architecture contrasted with a modern design.”
Earls King West aims to create an inviting atmosphere with its exposed brick, original wood floors and a retro neon sign, all while paying homage to the historic King West neighbourhood through local art and vintage décor.
In November 2023, Earls opened a restaurant in Yorkville, Toronto. Earls Yorkville is located at the Manulife Centre, near the intersection of Bay and Bloor.
Earls Restaurants, a family-owned chain since 1982, has expanded from its first location in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, to a total of 70 restaurants across Canada and the US.
