USA — Auberge Resorts Collection has appointed Christian Clerc as the new President and CEO to succeed Craig Reid, who is retiring after a decade of leadership.

Clerc is a distinguished leader in the hospitality industry with over 30 years of experience in operations and management at some of the world’s most prestigious luxury hotel brands.

His new role will commence on September 1, 2024, and he will be based in Auberge’s Bethesda, MD office.

Clerc previously held the position of Global President at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts from 2016 to 2022, where he was responsible for overseeing the company’s worldwide hotel and residential operations. 

His leadership extended across 127 hotels, 51 residential properties, more than 50 projects under development, and a workforce of 50,000 employees in 47 countries. 

During his tenure, Clerc focused on enhancing company culture, ensuring product excellence, and driving global expansion while introducing new business ventures as part of the company’s strategic growth.

Before his global role at Four Seasons, Clerc served as President for the EMEA region from 2014 to 2016, managing operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. 

His earlier career included leading the renowned Hotel George V in Paris with regional oversight for Southern Europe and various General Manager and Regional Vice President roles throughout the Americas. 

After departing from Four Seasons in 2022, Clerc pursued various projects, including board membership at Artemis RE Partners, chairing the board of duPont Registry Group, and providing advisory services on global luxury development initiatives.
