UAE- South London-based burger chain Smashed Hamburger has launched Smacks Hamburgers, its first outlet in Dubai, UAE.

The new restaurant is in Motor City, Dubai, open between 7 am and 3 pm.

It will feature a 100% Halal menu, including beef burgers, chicken, a range of Smacks sauces, hot and cold beverages, vegetarian meals and a separate kids’ menu.

The menu’s signature meal will be the Smacks Hamburger, made with 100% Angus beef, freshly ground at the store every day and smashed into patties. This unique preparation process sets the burger chain apart from other regional chains.

The new outlet will also feature a breakfast meal lineup.

Smashed Hamburgers expressed confidence over the move, alluding it offers an opportunity to leverage the brand’s increasing popularity in the UK and beyond and customer loyalty.

Smashed Hamburgers is the UK’s most viral burger chain, with 23 million organic views of its TikTok and Instagram pages.

The company also noted that 50% of meals ordered are take-away meals, while 65% of its customers return within the first month of purchasing a meal, a testament to the company’s customer loyalty.

Smashed Hamburger’s Franchise Director Mark Salter said, “Customers absolutely love our food. It tastes like nothing else. It’s so good that you’ll want to try the whole menu! We’re delighted that Dubai residents and holidaymakers are now able to experience our food.”

Motor City was selected because of its strategic location and diverse metropolitan population, which mirrors its online demographic. It aligns with the company’s target market, which is highly populated areas.

Speaking at the launch, Kaysor Ali, founder of Smashed Hamburgers, said, “The Smacks store is fantastically positioned to serve the surrounding highly populated areas packed with a variety of residents, including ex-pats, families, and professionals.”

“Motor City is home to other major global brands such as Shake Shack, Wendy’s, Daves’s Hot Chicken, and Starbucks, to name a few. We love being right in the mix.

The new store is part of the chain’s aggressive expansion strategy, which includes 10 franchised stores in the UK and Middle East and plans to open 22 other franchised outlets in the next few years.
