ABU DHABI- Luxury Hotel Rosewood Abu Dhabi has revealed plans to open Majlis by Pierre Hermé, the only outpost of the legendary pastry chef in the UAE, in October 2024.
The new restaurant is set to bring the exquisite, high-end creations of the renown pastry chef to Al Maryah Island.
The outpost will be located at the hotel’s ground floor, the artisan café. According to Rosewood Abu Dhabi, the outpost will epitomize its luxury experience.
Rosewood promises Majlis by Pierre Hermé will offer an impeccable experience to guests by merging Arabic culture with Parisian pastry flavors. It will achieve this experience through the essence of a traditional majlis, a sense of community intertwined with Parisian elegance.
The luxury hotel guarantees sweet moments and gatherings. Guests will share exquisite pastries, macarons and views of Abu Dhabi’s skyline.

Rosewood praised the ‘Picasso of pastry,’ describing him as an inspired creator who has revolutionized pastry traditions. The luxury hotel praised his inventive flavor combinations and precision, albeit utilizing the most sophisticated and refined ingredients.
The luxury hotel highlighted the success of his pastry offerings, from Tokyo, Paris, across Europe & Asia and now in Abu Dhabi.
The pastry chef also welcomed the news, promising to introduce new innovative creations that will delight guests. Although he will not be the permanent resident chef, all of the outpost’s creations will follow his original recipe.
However, Pierre Hermé has promised to make regular visits to the outpost to ensure the menu offerings meet his creative and artistic standards.
Guests should expect signature macarons like Ispahan, filled with sweet rose petals, lychee cream, and the freshness of raspberries to the exotic Mogador, which blends tangy passion fruit with sweet milk chocolate ganache.
The menu will also feature an array of cakes, chocolate, and fresh pastries, perfect for pairing with The Espresso Lab, offering the most meticulous coffee menu unlike any other offering in Abu Dhabi.
The outpost will also feature a retail section, perfect for gifting.
