DUBAI- The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) has announced the city has been selected to host the 8th and largest edition of The Best Chef Awards set to take place from November 4-6, 2024. 

According to the DET, the Best Chef Awards 2024 reflects the city’s growing significance in the culinary world. It will be the first time the event is held in Dubai and the Middle East. 

The DET has yet to provide information on the event’s location. 

The vent will convene a lineup of global culinary figures. 

It will feature renowned chefs like Aughan Mabee of Amisfield, Albert Adrià of Enigma, Ángel León of Aponiente, and Floriano Pellegrino & Isabella Potì of BROS. 

The Best Chef Awards 2024 will also feature Dubai’s leading chefs, such as Gregoire Berger (Ossiano), Mohammed Orfali (Orfali Bros), and Himanshu Saini (Tresind Studio, Avatara), who are key contenders for top accolades. 

These local and international chefs will engage with influencers, journalists, and other enthusiasts in the food service sector to discuss the latest trends, innovations, and best practices in the food service space. 

The event will also feature the Future of Food (R)evolution, a conference section involving cutting edge conversations on the latest technologies in the food service space.  

Experts, chefs, and suppliers will engage the audience to foster a deeper understanding of food science and how it applies to the sector.  

The event will culminate in the Best Chef Awards gala, where the world’s best chefs will be celebrated and recognized for their contributions to the culinary sector.
