MIDDLE EAST — Rotana, a hotel management firm, has promoted Dominic Carr to chief information officer (CIO) for its operations in the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Türkiye.

Carr has been with Rotana since 1997, significantly shaping the company’s technological landscape. 

His career at Rotana spans over two decades, during which time he held various positions, most recently as Corporate Vice President of technology and customer Experience. 

His promotion to CIO marks another milestone in his impactful career, during which he has spearheaded several major projects that contributed to Rotana’s rise as one of the top hotel brands in the region.

In his new role, Carr will oversee Rotana’s digital transformation initiatives, focusing on improving operational efficiency through technology-driven solutions. 

His strategic leadership will help streamline operations, enabling Rotana to continue delivering superior guest experiences while increasing cost efficiency across its growing portfolio of hotels and resorts.
