SAUDI ARABIA- Restaurant technology company Taker has revealed improvements to its Dook services with the launch of the Aggregation Service application programming interface (API).

According to the tech company, the improvements will allow restaurants significantly increase their sales by taking advantage of low-cost sales channels through partnerships with super applications and other third party applications.

Super applications are apps that provide a variety of core features while at the same time giving access to independently developed mini applications.

Third-party applications and super apps will promote and showcase restaurant menus to customers directly. The improvements will widen the reach of partner restaurants.

As such, the Aggregation Service API is intended to significantly increase the digital presence of partnering restaurants.

According to Taker, the improvements are particularly beneficial to partnering restaurants through reducing marketing expenses while at the same time increasing in sales.

The tech company also reiterated the Aggregation Service API improvements on its Dook services is ideal for restaurants that are seeking to tap into the broad customer base that frequently uses super apps and third party apps for their daily needs.

Taker also revealed the Aggregation Service API will provide partnering restaurants with the necessary tools required to navigate the complexities of the digital ordering landscape to achieve long-term success.

Through the API improvements, partnering restaurants can reduce their reliance on third-party food aggregation applications, which usually charge commissions.

The tech company suggested that the improvements will induce innovation in Saudi Arabia’s hospitality sector by delivering long-term solutions designed for the sector’s ever-changing nature.
