SPAIN – IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) is set to introduce its Vignette Collection brand to Spain following an agreement with the owner Prevario Banyols and the management Hotel Collection International (HCI).

This marks an important milestone for IHG in Spain, where the group is strengthening its presence in the luxury and lifestyle sector with nine hotels in the country.

Scheduled to open in the first half of 2025, Vignette Collection Mallorca – Finca Banyols will be located in Alaró, on the island of Mallorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands. 

Vignette Collection Mallorca – Finca Banyols, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees will provide distinctive cuisine offering a causal restaurant, stylish bar and a signature fine-dining restaurant. 

The hotel will also feature spa treatment rooms and one indoor and one outdoor pool, as well as substantial events space.

The addition of 45 rooms Vignette Collection Mallorca – Finca Banyols brings to 24 the number of Vignette Collection properties already open worldwide, with a target of reaching 100 hotels in the next ten years. 

The brand seeks to offer an authentic travel experience while leveraging IHG’s expertise and revenue systems.

In Europe, this property joins a network of eight Vignette Collection hotels under development and three already open, including Vignette Collection Casa da Companhia and Vignette Collection Lisbon Convent Square in Portugal, as well as The Halyard Liverpool, Vignette Collection in the UK. 

This development underlines IHG’s commitment to meeting the growing demand for unique and refined luxury and lifestyle experiences.
