GLOBAL – Kempinski Hotels has appointed Massimo Brancaleoni as Chief Commercial Officer, effective November 1, 2024.

Brancaleoni takes over from Amanda Elder, who is stepping down to explore new opportunities.

Brancaleoni, an Italian national, brings more than 25 years of experience in the commercial sector to his new role. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Revenues at Silversea Cruises. 

His career includes 20 years at Costa Crociere, where he held various senior positions, including Senior Vice President of Global Sales. 

Throughout his career, he has gained international experience, working in cities such as Paris, Genoa, Hong Kong, Madrid, Miami, and Monaco.

Brancaleoni holds degrees from the University of Economics in Genoa and IESE Business School in Barcelona. 

Since 2022, he has also served as a guest lecturer at Università degli Studi di Genova, focusing on the economics of the cruise, ferry, and yachting industries.
