This opening represents the sixth Hyatt Centric property in the state and the 101st Hyatt hotel across the Golden State.
Situated in one of Los Angeles’ most iconic beach locales, the hotel offers easy access to top attractions such as the Santa Monica Pier, Third Street Promenade, Venice Beach Boardwalk, and a bustling retail district.

As part of the esteemed World of Hyatt loyalty program, visitors can now earn and redeem points at this location, enhancing their stay with benefits from the wider World of Hyatt portfolio. Viceroy Hotel Group, a division of Highgate, will continue to manage the property.
A transformative US$16 million refurbishment is set to elevate the hotel’s offerings. Plans include updating its 315 chic guest rooms and introducing an entirely new dining experience, featuring a full-service restaurant and bar.
The hotel’s nearly 15,000 sq. ft. of meeting space will be revitalized, including a breathtaking 4,500 sq. ft. rooftop ballroom offering sweeping ocean views. Guests can also expect enhancements to the lobby and arrival area, designed to create a welcoming first impression.
The hotel’s leisure facilities will remain a highlight, including an outdoor pool, whirlpool, and a well-equipped fitness center.
The comprehensive upgrades are scheduled to begin this fall, with careful planning to ensure minimal disruption to guests throughout the renovation process.
