UK – Sandwich shop and coffeehouse chain Pret A Manger has partnered with digital solutions provider YOOBIC to provide digital support for frontline teams and facilitate global expansion.

Through the partnership, YOOBIC will provide its suit of tools across the chain’s 525 shops across 15 countries.

YOOBIC is expected to help transform the chain’s standard operating procedures into a central digital hub. This centralized hub will grant frontline teams easy access to important information and digital resources.

The tech company revealed frontline teams will access the centralized hub via their mobile devices.

The digital service provider also reiterated employees will stay updated on promotions, new operational procedures and complete tasks with a higher level of efficiency.

The integration is also intended to streamline operations through more robust routine checks to roll out new initiatives.

The centralized hub will also offer real-time visibility for regional managers, allowing them to monitor key tasks, scale best practices and swiftly address any issues.

The system also has a systems alert feature that ensures urgent tasks are communicated to employees and promptly responded to across the relevant locations.

The digital service provider also revealed that the integrated system includes additional checks to ensure the chain’s teams adhere to Pret A Manger’s strict hygiene, health, safety, and environmental impact standards.

The sandwich chain revealed its employees are already utilizing the integrated system to manage 65,000 monthly tasks. The chain has expressed satisfaction in how the system provides a comprehensive tracking of the tasks, follow-up actions and compliance.

Pret A Manger reiterated the system is already setting a robust foundation for the chain’s future growth.

Mark Corney, Pret A Manger’s Global Operations Development Director, said, “Quality and safety are paramount at Pret, and partnering with YOOBIC enables us to expand with confidence while empowering both fresh hires and seasoned team members to deliver amazing experiences for our customers.”

Fabrice Haiat, YOOBIC’s co-founder and CEO also welcomed the partnership by saying, “We’re thrilled to be working with Pret to support their frontline teams, and to provide the visibility and consistency needed to fuel their ambitious global expansion plans.”
