UAE – Bosco Pereira, former food blogger and travel agent has opened 59 Street, a new restaurant in Dubai that combines Mumbai street food and Southeast Asian cuisine.

The new restaurant is located at the Donatello Hotel, Al Barsha 1. It is open every day from noon to 3 am.

Dominic Pereira will serve as 59 Street’s head chef. The head chef revealed he partnered with Bosco in crafting a menu that blends the essence of their hometown with the diverse, bold tastes of Southeast Asia.

Guests can indulge in Mumbai favorites such as Anda Bhurji, Keema Pav, and Mutton Bhuna Tawa Masala.

The menu also offers Southeast Asian staples like Dim Sum, Singaporean Chilli Crab, and Nasi Goreng.

The head chef also revealed guests can enjoy signature family recipes, like Mama’s Chicken Roast and Prawns Pulao, which are intended to provide comforting flavors that are sure to leave guests both satisfied and eager for more.

The owner expressed optimism over the new restaurant, claiming it will offer an innovative dining experience unlike any other in the city.

Bosco Pereira said, “We wanted to bring together the best of Mumbai and Southeast Asia, offering Dubai a taste of something close to our hearts.”

“It’s about sharing our story through food and creating a space that feels both new and familiar.”

The owner also revealed the restaurant’s atmosphere reflects the lively energy of the Asian street food experience, featuring design elements like exposed brick walls, neon signs, and décor reminiscent of Bombay’s iconic streets.

The restaurant also features an innovative cocktail menu that complements the food, with offerings such as the Mango and Mint Mojito or the Chai-Spiced Whiskey Sour, each infused with flavors inspired by traditional Indian and Asian beverages.

The new restaurant also offers all-day happy hours, which ensure guests can enjoy the location’s vibrant ambiance.

Bosco reiterated the restaurant strikes a balance between quality, affordability, and a lively social vibe, making it the perfect spot for diners who crave bold flavors and a dynamic atmosphere at a reasonable price.
