USA – Restaurant customer relationship management (CRM) software SevenRooms has launched a new text message marketing solution for restaurants in the US.

The solution enables restaurants to send unlimited character marketing campaigns via text, complete with multimedia attachments and text. Its functionality enables restaurants to connect with guests on their mobile devices, delivering timely and relevant marketing messages.

The text marketing service allows restaurant partners to launch personalized, data-driven campaigns in minutes, with the ability to track reservation bookings and spending back to guest profiles.

The CRM software solutions provider offers restaurant customers a convenient avenue for receiving information on promotions and other relevant updates from their favorite restaurants.

The solution offers 15 unique text marketing templates tailored for its restaurant partners.

The text marketing service is built on SevenRooms’ recent acquisition of the AI SMS marketing platform HeyPluto.

According to SevenRooms, the innovative solution was inspired by the growth and expansion of the US SMS market.

According to market analytics firm Adam Connell, 40% of US businesses make use of SMS marketing.

Another market analysis by Grand View Research estimates the US SMS marketing sub-sector will be worth US$12.6 billion by the end of 2025 and will grow at a combined annual growth rate (CAGR) of 20.3% from 2025 to 2030.

SevenRooms revealed the data suggests SMS marketing presents a unique, affordable opportunity for restaurants to engage with their customers and achieve a positive return on investment (ROI).

The CRM platform also revealed the solution was used by chains such as Maple & Ash and Fabio Viviani Hospitality in the past six months as part of its testing phase, before the official rollout.

Fabio Viviani Hospitality reported a revenue boost of US$432,000, with 5,726 covers and 1,784 reservations attributable to the text marketing solution in these six months.
