MENA – The largest QSR operator in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, Americana Restaurants has deployed Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suit to enhance its operations.
The integrated suite of cloud applications consolidates various crucial routine operations, helping the organization manage finance, supply chain, and HR processes, replacing on-premises systems.
The suite includes the Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) intended to help the operator enhance operational efficiency through holistic access to indicative data points which provide valuable insights, improve controls and reduce costs.
It also features the Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) system that will help the company unify its HR processes on a single platform which should help improve decision-making and offer a more satisfying employee experience.
The suite also features the Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain & Manufacturing (SCM) system meant to improve supply and demand planning in all its outlets and promptly respond to new market demands.
According to the operator, the cloud suite is intended to reduce costs, enhance decision-making, and improve the business’ agility in response to changing market dynamics.
Americana Restaurants revealed the need for the cloud suite deployment wtoits rapid growth, which requires broadened management capacity.
In 2023, the company reported revenues of US$2.413 billion, translating to a 1.5% growth year on year (YoY). The operator also opened a record 300 new QSR outlets in the same period.
Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suit not only helps the company manage its core businesses more efficiently on a larger scale, but it also makes it easy for the operator to embrace new operational models quickly, develop its product portfolio, and scale services across its markets.
