MOROCCO – Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr has opened its doors, blending modern luxury with historical charm in Morocco’s capital.
The oceanfront property features restored historic buildings, lush gardens, and top-notch amenities, just minutes from key attractions.
Located in the historic Quartier l’Océan district on the Atlantic coast, Four Seasons Hotel Rabat offers guests an ideal base for exploring the city’s unique cultural blend.
Rabat’s designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2012, due to its fusion of Arab-Muslim history and Western influences, makes it an intriguing destination for luxury travelers.
The hotel is conveniently accessible via Rabat-Salé Airport, a short train ride from Casablanca.
Rabat offers a wealth of cultural and historical sites, from the 12th-century Kasbah des Oudaias to the Andalusian Gardens and the contemporary Grand Theatre of Rabat.
The hotel’s concierge team is equipped to design personalized itineraries for guests, allowing them to experience everything from the medina’s vibrant markets to modern architectural marvels.
“Our collection of luxury hospitality and residential properties in Morocco is as diverse as the country itself, with each new opening introducing something entirely new for both our local guests and international travellers,” Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts global operations president Rainer Stampfer said.
The 200-room hotel encompasses both modern and historic buildings. Its rooms feature views of either the ocean or lush gardens. Many include balconies or terraces, and some offer private plunge pools.
The interiors, designed by Roger Nazarian and Associates, showcase Moroccan craftsmanship with Zellige tiles, stained glass windows, and brass accents.
Guests can choose from a variety of accommodations, including the Turquoise Ocean View Suite with its living room and dining suite.
The Moulay Slimane Presidential Suite, named after a Moroccan king, includes a fitness room, media room, office, and kitchenette and offers more than 950m² of living space, including a rooftop pool with ocean views.
Guests can access Brasserie Marie, a Parisian-style bistro, and an open-kitchen restaurant for breakfast and lunch.
With his French expertise, executive pastry chef Gregory Chrismant enhances the Noora Lobby Lounge, which aims to be Rabat’s spot for afternoon tea. The lounge is complemented by a pastry counter open from morning until late evening.
