Artcaffé opens new outlet in Nairobi’s The Cube

KENYA – Café and restaurant chain Artcaffé has opened its latest outlet at the Cube on Riverside Drive in Westlands, Nairobi.

The new outlet features a warm and scenic outdoor and indoor space.

The indoor space features warm burgundy, brown, and orange hues meant to illicit an inviting aura, excellent for relaxed interactions. The outdoor space features natural green hues, equally eliciting an inviting aura.

According to the restaurant, the new outlet is excellent for both formal meetings and casual catch-ups.

The new restaurant features a cocktail menu focused on seasonal ingredients, alongside a diverse selection of wines, whiskeys, and craft beers.

Artcaffé has also announced that the beverage offerings include expertly crafted cocktails made predominantly with in-house ingredients to provide a distinctive taste experience.

The menu also boasts a range of small plates suitable for sharing, as well as larger entrees for those seeking more substantial options.

Among its highlights is the Gastro Pizza, touted for its unique flavor combinations and high-quality ingredients, promising a memorable culinary experience.

The latest location was opened barely two months after the café opened the Artcaffé Gastro Bar, at Imaara Mall along Mombasa Road, also in Nairobi.

The Gastro Bar aims to deliver a vibrant and modern atmosphere, catering to both professional and casual gatherings.

Its interior design and ambiance are crafted to suit business meetings during the week while transforming into a lively venue for social events on weekends. This contemporary setting distinguishes the Gastro Bar from other Artcaffé locations.

Artcaffé emphasizes that the locally inspired decor, curated music selection, and diverse menu collectively contribute to a unique and enjoyable customer experience.

Patrons can expect familiar comfort foods and beverage options presented with a modern flair at the new outlet at The Cube as well as the Mombasa Road outlet.

Since opening its first location in Kenya in 2009, Artcaffé has expanded rapidly, particularly in Nairobi’s upscale shopping centers.

The brand’s growth strategy has been bolstered by its 2018 acquisition by ECP Group for KES 3.5 billion (US$27.1 million), which enabled the opening of 14 new locations within the first year post-acquisition.
