GERMANY – Hotel management software provider SIHOT has launched its latest hardware-software service, a self-ordering terminal designed for fast-moving food and beverage outlets.
SIHOT will unveil its self-ordering terminal at Südback in Stuttgart from October 26 to 29, 2024, at Hall 5, Stand D68.
The latest innovation from the hotel management system is tailored for fast-paced food and beverage outlets.
The development of this terminal aims to alleviate challenges faced by busy catering establishments, such as long queues and increased waiting times, while also reducing pressure on staff. By implementing a digitalized ordering system, operations can be streamlined.
The terminal features an intuitive touchscreen display with customizable menus, allowing customers to place orders easily and access information regarding nutritional values and allergens.
Payment transactions are quick and secure, accepting credit cards or mobile payments through an integrated payment system.
Fully integrated with SIHOT.POS, the self-ordering terminal benefits from real-time data transfer of customer orders directly to the kitchen printer, ensuring customers receive digital receipts.
Additionally, hospitality and catering businesses can enhance the customer experience by incorporating a fully integrated card terminal and barcode scanner.

This new terminal builds upon the functionality of the SIHOT.KIOSK launched in 2021, which provides guests with a seamless, fully digitized check-in experience while automating hotel operations.
The SIHOT.KIOSK software connects to SIHOT’s Property Management System and is paired with the Stellar TK-2130, a modular kiosk system customizable to match the hotel’s branding and lobby decor.
Designed for ease of servicing and maintenance, the SIHOT.KIOSK features a touchscreen monitor equipped with an antibacterial nano-coating that includes bacteriostatic and sterilizing properties to uphold hygiene standards.
The terminal is also capable of facilitating the check-out process, allowing prepayments by credit or debit card, with bookings and billing managed automatically through SIHOT.KIOSK. Guests receive an invoice sent to their designated email address.
