USA – Restaurant tech company PAR Technology has entered into a strategic partnership with spatial AI inventory solutions provider NomadGo to provide AI-powered inventory solutions to its restaurant clients.
NomadGo’s AI-driven inventory data will be integrated into PAR’s Data Central back office platform, aiming to revolutionize how restaurants manage their substantial operational costs, including food and labor.
The inventory management process enables staff to scan inventory across various locations using mobile devices. NomadGo’s technology delivers near-instant counts with 99% accuracy, fundamentally changing the inventory management landscape for restaurants.
By implementing this technology, restaurant operators can transition from manual inventory counts to quick scans with a smartphone or tablet.
The advancement is projected to save up to 15 hours per month, allowing staff to focus more on enhancing customer service. Benefits include fewer errors, streamlined operations, and cost savings for restaurant operators.
Amirian Management Company, a franchisee of a national hospitality chain, will be the first to adopt this innovative solution. However, the exact date of rollout is yet to be announced.
NomadGo CEO David Greschler expressed that the company’s goal is to enhance inventory management by making it faster, more accurate, and easier for restaurants, while also ensuring it is enjoyable for employees.
He noted that by integrating with PAR’s platform, they have streamlined the process by removing unnecessary steps, allowing operators to manage their inventory seamlessly using the tools they already have.
NomadGo’s CEO added that with stock levels being updated in real-time within the back-office system, operators receive immediate insights that enable smarter purchasing decisions and reduce supply chain inefficiencies, which ultimately leads to better financial results.
Oliver Ostertag, general manager of PAR Technology’s operator and cloud division, emphasized that accurate and timely inventory data represents a significant advancement for restaurant operators.
Amirian CIO Russell Jones also welcomed the partnership by saying, “Using NomadGo is going to make our managers’ job easier by giving them a tool to count inventory much faster and more accurately. This will allow them to focus on the important operations of the restaurant to impact food cost and customer experience.”
