Careem Food introduces ‘Member Mondays,’ offering exclusive weekly discounts for Careem Plus subscribers

UAE – Food delivery platform Careem Food has introduced ‘Member Mondays’, a weekly perk offering exclusive food deals for Careem Plus subscribers including discounts on food orders from top brands like Allo Beirut, Shake Shack, Costa and Salata.

Jaskaran Singh, Vice President of Careem Food, expressed excitement about the introduction of Member Mondays, noting it adds significant value to memberships and helps transform the usual Monday blues into something more enjoyable.

He stated that customers are attracted to Careem Plus due to its ability to provide savings on a wide range of daily services, including food and grocery delivery, rides, and payment options.

The Member Mondays initiative has quickly gained traction among Careem Plus subscribers and has drawn new users to the program.

In the first two weeks alone, Careem Food reported a 20% increase in Monday orders from participating brands, along with thousands of new Careem Plus subscriptions added weekly and a 25% rise in member reactivations compared to earlier months.

Participating restaurants in Member Mondays feature popular names such as Allo Beirut, Shake Shack, Under500, Sushi Art, Zaroob, Salata, The Palestinian Bakery, Chowking, Gino’s Deli, and Pinkberry, offering discounts of up to 30% for Careem Plus members.

Careem Plus subscribers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi benefit from unlimited free delivery and exclusive discounts on food and grocery orders, instant savings of up to 50% on dining bills, credit for 10 rides each month, and discounts on electronics, home cleaning, laundry services, and Careem Bike.

On average, members save AED 300 (US$81.68) monthly with a subscription fee of just AED 19 (US$5.17), while active members can save up to AED 1,000 (US$272.3) each month. As of 2024, customers have saved over US$28 million through Careem Plus.
