AUSTRALIA – Australia’s Perth Airport has announced a partnership with Accor to operate the Pullman Perth Airport Hotel.
Perth Airport chief property officer Dan Sweet revealed that the airport is embarking on a US$5 billion capital investment programme.
This programme will introduce new terminals, upgrade ground transport infrastructure, and establish the inaugural airport hotel.
The DKO Architecture-led Pullman Perth Airport’s design aims to showcase Western Australia’s landscapes through its choice of materials and architectural forms.
This approach is intended to provide a warm welcome to international and domestic visitors.
“The new Pullman Perth Airport hotel will be a world-class facility located at the front door to our major terminals,” Sweet said.
“It will make it even more convenient for international and interstate visitors, providing a place to stay and relax during connections.
“Pullman, along with its parent company Accor, are both well-known and respected global hospitality brands. Their expertise and experience will ensure a fantastic new accommodation offering debuts in Perth, particularly for those transiting through the airport.”
Scheduled to open in 2027, the hotel will be the first on the airport’s estate, offering 240 rooms and suites, a rooftop restaurant and a bar.
It will also feature a gymnasium, a lobby lounge café, a sauna, meeting facilities, and co-working spaces.
Accor Pacific PM&E division chief operating officer Adrian Williams commented on the growth of the group’s airport hotel network, stating that it underscores the transformation of airport areas into significant commercial and service hubs.
Accor’s Pullman brand has more than 20 hotels and resorts in Australia and New Zealand. The new Pullman Perth Airport will become the fourth Pullman airport hotel in the Pacific, joining existing properties in Sydney, Brisbane, and Auckland.
Accor is expanding its Pullman brand in China, with a new development project signed in June to introduce the brand in Tai’erzhuang, Shandong.
