KENYA – Coffeehouse chain Java House has announced the opening of three new branches in Kenya at Shell New Gatitu Thika and Java Express locations at Kisumu Airport and Rubis Kenol.
The three new branches in Kenya mark the coffeehouse chain’s 95th, 96th, and 97th outlets in East Africa. The company stated that these openings reflect its progress towards achieving a total of 100 branches in the region by the end of the year.
Each new location will offer Java House’s classic menu, reinforcing the chain’s strategy to deepen its market reach in East Africa.
These latest branches in Kenya follow two recent additions in Uganda, located in Muyenga and Shell Najjera.
These Ugandan branches represent Java House’s 93rd and 94th East African outlets and its fifth and sixth in Uganda.
Additionally, Java House Uganda introduced a new “on-the-go” concept at Shell Nansana, tailored for busy customers seeking quick service without compromising quality.
The chain’s new concepts in both Kenya and Uganda are designed to meet shifting consumer preferences, providing portable, convenient food options that retain the brand’s familiar quality for customers on the move.
In a further commitment to customer experience, Java House also renovated its Shell Lugogo branch in Uganda, a move that reflects the company’s ongoing investment in the market.
With over a decade of operations in East Africa, Java House has continually adapted to consumer demand through innovation and expansion.
A strategic partnership with Vivo Energy Uganda has been instrumental in this expansion.
Vivo Energy Uganda, which provides the premises for several Java House outlets, has supported the coffeehouse chain’s growth efforts by enabling the brand to introduce its offerings in more locations across Uganda.
This partnership also aims to bring additional incentives for customers at select branches.
Java House’s Head of Marketing, Priscilla Gathungu, expressed that customer satisfaction remains central to the brand’s mission.
She explained that expanding to locations like Najjera, and Muyenga, and introducing an “on-the-go” model in Nansana aligns with Java House’s goal to offer all Ugandans access to its welcoming atmosphere, quality meals, and renowned coffee.
