THAILAND – Hospitality company Dusit Foods has entered into a strategic partnership with Green House, a leading Japanese food service company to expand the growth of Epicure Catering, a food and beverage service provider to Thailand’s international school sector.

The collaboration between Dusit Foods and Green House aims to expand Epicure Catering’s reach to new sectors, including healthcare, corporate clients, and both domestic and international airlines.

Under the terms of the agreement, Green House will partner with Sumitomo Corporation to form a special purpose vehicle (SPV) for acquiring a 20% stake in Epicure Catering.

Dusit Foods will retain a majority 70% ownership while existing Epicure shareholders will hold the remaining 10%.

The partnership builds on a previous collaboration between Dusit International and Green House, which began with consultancy work for the Dusit Thani Kyoto hotel in 2023.

The success of that project underscored the potential for further partnership, now extending into the broader food service sector.

Dusit International Group CEO, Suphajee Suthumpun, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “With Epicure Catering’s established position as a leading provider of food services in Thailand’s international school sector, holding over 70% market share, we see significant potential for growth.”

“Together with Green House, we intend to leverage our combined expertise to bring Epicure’s high-quality services to new markets in education, healthcare, and airlines throughout Thailand and Asia.”

Since its launch in 2018, Dusit Foods has pursued a “farm-to-fork” strategy, investing across the food supply chain to support Dusit’s diverse operations.

Its portfolio includes The Caterers in Vietnam, Bonjour Bakery Asia in Thailand, Savor Eats (Pinto Hub) with cloud kitchens and a central kitchen in Bangkok, and Dusit Gastro, a sourcing and distribution center that supports Dusit Hotels and Resorts as well as other HoReCa sector businesses.

Green House brings over 70 years of expertise in food services, catering to sectors like corporate, healthcare, and education. Its offerings span restaurant and ready-to-eat food management, health applications, kitchen consulting, and food distribution.

With a daily service capacity of over one million meals, Green House’s portfolio includes more than 4,000 menu items, all adhering to HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) standards for safety and quality.

This strategic alliance positions Epicure Catering to broaden its market reach and strengthen its offerings, combining Dusit’s food service initiatives with Green House’s extensive experience across diverse sectors.
