GLOBAL – The B2B and out-of-home division of Nestlé has expanded its range of the Nescafé Fusion system, and its range of coffee machines to improve food service providers’ ability to deliver personalized coffee experiences.

Nescafé Professional has introduced a new coffee machine range designed to meet the rising demand for personalized drink options, including hot and cold beverages.

This expanded offering includes choices like whole roasted beans, instant coffee, and both dairy and plant-based milk.

Recognizing coffee’s importance in customer experiences, food service providers across sectors—such as hotels, offices, convenience stores, and educational, and healthcare institutions—require equipment capable of delivering varied beverage options with ease.

The Nescafé Fusion system addresses this need by offering a selection of filter coffees, espresso-based drinks, and iced beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, and mochas.

With 14 machine models, Nescafé Fusion caters to different business sizes and consumer needs, taking into account considerations like cup capacity and counter space. Initially launched in 15 markets across Asia, Europe, and Latin America, the system is now set to roll out in an additional 60 regions.

Nestlé’s R&D teams in Orbe, Switzerland, developed these machines, combining system technology with extensive coffee expertise.

Reinhold Jakobi, Nestlé Professional’s global head, explained, “As the demand for cold beverages increases, especially among younger generations, our food service providers must adapt to offer a versatile menu of both hot and iced drinks. Nescafé Fusion provides customizable coffee options while underscoring our sustainability commitment.

The machines incorporate up to 30% recycled plastic and deliver energy savings of up to 60% compared to older models.

They feature telemetry technology for remote monitoring and troubleshooting, allowing Nestlé Professional’s technical experts to receive real-time issue alerts, which minimizes travel for system maintenance.

The machines use hot water to pre-heat the brewing chamber as needed, reducing reliance on heating fans. Additionally, a Lifecycle Assessment Tool helps food service providers evaluate a machine’s emissions, water use, and resource impact.

Nestlé Professional has also introduced a “Trace My Coffee” pilot program, enabling customers in Spain and the Netherlands to track coffee from its origin to its roasting and packaging location. This feature adds a layer of transparency, enhancing consumer connection to product sourcing.
