KENYA – Local café and restaurant chain Artcaffé has opened its latest outlet at Northview, Shell Survey, off Thika Road in Nairobi.

The new location offers a warm, inviting atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating options. The indoor space features earthy tones of brown, green, and orange, creating a comfortable setting for relaxed interactions, while the outdoor area, surrounded by greenery and plants, further enhances this welcoming ambiance.

The décor is equally inviting, with vivid abstract patterns providing an equally appealing ambiance, which is suitable for a variety of occasions.

This new outlet is designed to cater to both formal meetings and casual gatherings, offering a versatile space for a variety of occasions.

In line with its reputation, the restaurant offers a cocktail menu that highlights seasonal ingredients, complemented by an extensive selection of wines, whiskeys, and craft beers. The beverages are crafted with in-house ingredients to ensure a unique, high-quality experience for patrons.

The menu also includes a variety of small plates perfect for sharing, as well as hearty entrees for those seeking more substantial options. A standout dish is the Gastro Pizza, known for its innovative flavor combinations and premium ingredients, promising a memorable dining experience.

The opening of this outlet marks a significant step in Artcaffé’s expansion strategy, which focuses on stand-alone establishments.

This location follows the recent launch of an outlet at Nairobi’s The Cube, just two weeks earlier. Additionally, the café opened the Artcaffé Gastro Bar at Imaara Mall along Mombasa Road two months prior, further demonstrating the brand’s growth trajectory.

The Gastro Bar offers a vibrant, modern atmosphere, ideal for both business meetings during the week and social gatherings on weekends.

Its contemporary design and ambiance set it apart from other Artcaffé locations, while the locally inspired decor and curated music selection enhance the overall customer experience.

Since its first Kenyan location in 2009, Artcaffé has experienced rapid growth, particularly in Nairobi’s high-end shopping malls. The brand’s expansion accelerated following its acquisition by ECP Group in 2018 for KES 3.5 billion (US$27.1 million), enabling the opening of 14 new locations within a year.
