SOUTH AFRICA – Leading hospitality company Southern Sun has announced a strategic partnership with Durban’s tourism marketing agency, Durban Tourism to enhance tourism through showcasing attractions, accommodation, and culinary offerings.
This collaboration is designed to draw both local and international visitors by highlighting Durban’s unique appeal.
The partnership underscores the shared commitment of Southern Sun and Durban Tourism to promoting the city’s many attractions, including its famous beaches, rich cultural heritage, and family-friendly activities.
The collaboration is further strengthened by South African Airways, which operates daily flights from major cities to King Shaka International Airport, making it easier for tourists to access the city and experience all that it has to offer.
Durban is known for its stunning beaches, lively atmosphere, historical landmarks, and a wide range of accommodation options. These features make it an ideal destination for holidaymakers from both within South Africa and abroad.

In addition to this summer campaign, Southern Sun and Durban Tourism have worked together on multiple initiatives over the past five years.
These include promotional events, destination marketing efforts, and collaborations aimed at enhancing Durban’s reputation as a premier travel destination.
Through these efforts, both parties have played a key role in fostering the city’s growth as a hub for tourism in South Africa. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to not only attracting visitors but also enriching their experiences, making Durban a must-visit destination in the region.
