GLOBAL – Leading restaurant software and IT solutions provider PAR Technology has unveiled the PAR Clear communications headset system meant to improve customer experiences at QSR drive-thrus.

PAR Clear is designed to address common challenges such as order errors and lengthy wait times.

The system delivers enhanced audio clarity, an extended range, and intuitive controls to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction in quick-service restaurants (QSRs).

PAR Technology CEO Savneet Singh emphasized the innovation, stating: “PAR Clear isn’t just another headset system; it’s the next step in drive-thru innovation.

With superior clarity and range, it provides operators a significant competitive advantage. This is the future of drive-thru operations, and it’s available today.”

Key features of PAR Clear include high-definition wideband audio supported by an advanced digital signal processor, ensuring clear communication even in noisy settings.

Its dual-array microphones are engineered to capture every word with precision, while DECT 6.0 technology extends the system’s range, enabling flexibility across various store layouts.

Additionally, the system incorporates a cloud-based management platform for remote monitoring, updates, and troubleshooting.

A wall-mounted 11.6-inch touchscreen console provides operators with convenient access to essential settings such as volume and headset registration, functioning independently of internet connectivity.

Designed for scalability, PAR Clear supports multiple lanes and integrates with emerging technologies, eliminating the need for hardware replacements as QSRs evolve.

Following a successful beta testing phase, the system is now available for QSR operators.

Jason Riggs, general manager for hardware at PAR Technology, highlighted the system’s forward-thinking design, stating, “Our focus has always been on delivering hardware that helps operators stay ahead. PAR Clear not only reduces service times but also prepares operators to integrate future innovations, including AI.”

In addition to PAR Clear, the company recently introduced Punchh Wallet in early November.

This digital wallet streamlines loyalty programs and payment processes, offering features like saved payment methods, stored value, and digital passes usable both within and beyond restaurant apps.

Punchh Wallet also provides actionable insights into customer behavior, fostering increased customer lifetime value and strategic growth for restaurants.

Early adopters have reported notable results, including a 163% boost in customer lifetime value, a 70% increase in sign-ups via Apple Pay, and a 6.5-fold rise in visit frequency.
