CHINA – Domino’s Pizza master franchisee in China, DPC Dash has opened its 1000th outlet in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China.
DPC Dash, the master franchisee of Domino’s Pizza in China, has expanded its footprint to 33 cities across mainland China with the opening of its newest store in Chengdu.
This outlet showcases a distinctive interior design that integrates local cultural elements, such as bamboo and panda motifs, enhancing the customer experience with a regional touch.
To mark the opening, the Chengdu store is offering exclusive promotions for ten days, available through its proprietary ordering platforms.
This launch aligns with DPC Dash’s “Go Broader, Go Deeper” strategy, which focuses on deepening its presence in existing markets while expanding into new ones.
In June, the company announced plans to open approximately 240 net new stores in 2024, aiming to hit the 1,000-store milestone by the year’s end.
This goal was achieved with the recent Chengdu opening, capping off an ambitious growth phase.
In December 2023, DPC Dash opened ten stores across eight cities, including Tangshan, Changsha, Yangzhou, Fuzhou, and Nantong, further solidifying its presence in China’s competitive food and beverage sector.
As part of its broader growth strategy, DPC Dash emphasizes offering affordable pizzas to Chinese consumers, primarily through online channels.
The company prioritizes delivery services, backed by ongoing technological advancements.
CEO Aileen Wang expressed her enthusiasm for the milestone, by saying, “The opening of our 1,000th store is a significant achievement for Domino’s Pizza China. We are thrilled to celebrate this moment with our customers and employees. We remain committed to our customer-centric corporate values, leveraging innovation to enhance the dining experience.”
To sustain its rapid growth, DPC Dash has invested in robust infrastructure, including central kitchens in Sanhe, Shanghai, and Dongguan, with a new facility planned in Wuhan.
These kitchens are equipped with automated technologies and advanced management systems to ensure supply chain efficiency, food safety, and consistent product quality.
Looking ahead, DPC Dash has ambitious plans to open 300–350 new stores annually in 2025 and 2026, reinforcing its leadership in the Chinese market.
By combining technological innovation with localized customer experiences, the company is poised for continued success under its “Go Broader, Go Deeper” expansion strategy.
