KUWAIT – Kuwait’s hospitality sector has marked a milestone with the opening of the Park Inn by Radisson Hotel & Apartments in Mahboula, just south of Kuwait City.

This addition to the Radisson Hotel Group’s portfolio is the first of its kind in the country, combining contemporary guest experiences with scenic sea views.

This property, the group’s second in Kuwait, features 180 guest rooms and 70 serviced apartments, all designed with modern aesthetics and functionality in mind.

Located 30 minutes from Kuwait International Airport and a short drive from Al Kout Mall, the hotel aims to provide convenience and comfort for both business and leisure travelers.

Highlighting its commitment to the region, Tim Cordon, COO for the Middle East & South East Asia Pacific at Radisson Hotel Group, stated, “This opening reflects our dedication to enhancing hospitality standards in Kuwait while supporting the nation’s growing tourism and business sectors.”

Guests will find an array of amenities, including a fitness center offering sweeping views of the Arabian Gulf, making exercise a refreshing experience.

For events and conferences, the hotel boasts three versatile halls and the elegant Al Nuwair Ballroom, accommodating business meetings and social gatherings alike.

Dining options include the Al Maha restaurant, where visitors can enjoy a breakfast buffet with live cooking stations, as well as à la carte lunch and dinner menus. These offerings emphasize the hotel’s effort to cater to diverse tastes while maintaining high standards.

The hospitality sector in Kuwait continues to show promising growth. According to Statista, the market is projected to reach a revenue of USD 353.70 million by 2024, with a user penetration rate of 23.1%.

Further growth is expected, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 2.95% leading to a projected market volume of USD 409.10 million by 2029.

The number of users in the market is also set to rise, with estimates suggesting a climb to 1.21 million by 2029.

These figures reveal the increasing demand for high-quality accommodations and services, positioning properties like the Park Inn by Radisson as key players in this upward trend.
