SOUTH AFRICA – Africa’s premier conference in hospitality and tourism investment, the Africa Hospitality Investment Forum (AHIF) its 13th edition will take place in Cape Town from June 17 to 19, 2025 at the Western Cape Town.

The Africa Hospitality Investment Forum (AHIF) 2025 will introduce a new, dynamic format designed to foster partnerships and facilitate deals within Africa’s rapidly growing hospitality sector, one of the fastest-expanding markets globally.

This innovative format, which emphasizes networking and tailored insights, aims to go beyond traditional conference setups. It will feature country pavilions from various African nations to highlight the latest opportunities in the region for investors.

The new format offers several advantages, including personalized itineraries, interactive workshops, roundtable discussions, and enhanced networking opportunities.

Delegates will also gain valuable insights into economic trends shaping the region. Targeted at C-level executives in hospitality and tourism investment, AHIF will continue to focus exclusively on those driving the future of hospitality in Africa.

Matthew Weihs, Managing Director of The Bench, the event’s organizer, expressed enthusiasm about hosting AHIF in Cape Town.

He highlighted that the city embodies the energy and potential of African hospitality. Weihs emphasized that the event will provide delegates with unique opportunities to connect with key decision-makers, form new partnerships, and learn from industry leaders.

The MD added that AHIF will offer an immersive experience by allowing delegates to explore Cape Town, providing added value to their participation. The connections and insights gained from these hands-on experiences, Weihs noted, would play a critical role in advancing investment and development across the continent.

Political economist Daniel Silke also underscored the importance of AHIF, stating that the forum is recognized as a global industry leader.

He pointed out that the event addresses one of the most promising markets in the world, where high growth rates, demographic shifts, urbanization, and improved air connectivity are generating significant interest from hotel groups.

Silke noted that AHIF is distinguished not only by its expert speakers and in-depth insights but also by its ability to foster personal connections, which are essential in this dynamic industry.
