JORDAN – Hilton has confirmed the signing of a 272-room Signia by Hilton hotel in Amman, Jordan.
Slated to open in January 2025, the hotel will introduce the brand’s modern approach to hospitality to the Middle East and Africa region, with a focus on luxury, convenience, and exceptional service.
Carlos Khneisser, Hilton’s Vice President for Development in the Middle East and Africa, described the move as part of the company’s broader growth strategy in the region.
“This signing highlights our commitment to bringing new hospitality experiences to key destinations. Signia by Hilton Amman will cater to business and leisure travelers with its high-quality accommodations, flexible event spaces, and culinary offerings,” he said.
The hotel will be situated in the Shmeisani district, a central business hub in Amman. This location provides easy access to international corporations, shopping centers such as Abdali Mall, and cultural sites like the Haya Cultural Center. The strategic positioning aims to attract both local and international visitors.
Monther Farah, Managing Director of Al Rabya Hotels, Tourism and Commercial Centers, the hotel’s owner, emphasized the unique collaboration.
“We are excited to partner with Hilton to bring this brand to the region. Amman’s vibrant culture and status as a growing business hub make it the ideal location for this new property,” Farah stated.
Signia by Hilton Amman will feature more than 5,000 square meters of event space, including a convention center capable of hosting up to 3,400 guests.
Additionally, 20 meeting rooms equipped with advanced technology will cater to various gatherings, from corporate events to private celebrations.
For leisure, guests can enjoy seven dining venues offering local and international cuisines, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a spa, and an outdoor pool.
An exclusive Club Signia experience will provide enhanced services for suite and club room guests, including private lounge access and personalized concierge services.
Teddy Berlin, the global leader for the Signia by Hilton brand, expressed enthusiasm for the project. “Amman is a cultural and business crossroads, making it an ideal setting for our first international property. This hotel will showcase everything Signia represents, from modern design to exceptional service,” Berlin noted.
This development is part of Hilton’s broader plans for growth in 2024 and beyond. New hotels have been opened in countries such as Nepal, Paraguay, and Laos.
Hilton is also focusing on renovations to elevate existing properties, such as the Hilton Garden Inn Bangkok Riverside and Beach Village at The Del in San Diego, California.
