Shiok Kitchen Catering to take advantage of holiday boom with Christmas menu

SINGAPOREHalal-certified caterer Shiok Kitchen Catering has revealed its seasonal holiday menu, with offers and changes to its conventional catering offerings meant to leverage the hosliday spending boom experienced in December.

Shiok Kitchen Catering has unveiled its festive menus for 2024, blending traditional Christmas classics with modern Singaporean flavors.

Available from December 2 to 31, the menus cater to various occasions and group sizes, offering options from mini buffet spreads to holiday-themed bentos tailored for corporate events. Guests are guaranteed to leave the celebration feeling “shiok.” 

For a unique twist on festive mains, the Slow Roasted Rendang Beef Striploin (1.5KG, US$168+) brings Singaporean-inspired zest to the table, while the Baked Laksa Spice Tasmania Salmon (800G, US$88+) adds a spicy, aromatic flair.

The Slow Roasted Nonya Curry Spice Lamb Leg (3-5KG, US$148+) offers a hearty, rich option, each accompanied by two signature sides and flavorful sauces. Another standout is the Sambal Rojak Glazed Turkey Ham (2KG, US$88+), paired with a tangy White Rojak Fruit Salad to complement the main course.

Dessert lovers will be delighted by Shiok Kitchen’s festive creations, such as the “Ondeh-Ondeh” Log Cake (500G, US$58; 1KG, US$78+), a harmonious blend of coconut, white chocolate, pandan sponge, and Gula Melaka.

Another highlight is the “Kopi” Chocolate Log Cake (500G, US$58; 1KG, US$78+), offering a rich coffee-flavored indulgence. For a nostalgic Singaporean touch, the Kaya Bread & Butter Pudding (US$32+) with dried cranberries and “Teh C” Crème Anglaise adds a familiar yet festive flair.

For those craving a classic holiday spread, Shiok Kitchen delivers traditional favorites like the Maple Roasted Turkey (4-5KG, US$148+) filled with Christmas Mushroom & Chestnut Stuffing, accompanied by cranberry sauce, onion gravy, and roasted winter vegetables.

Another centerpiece option, the Herb Crusted Beef Striploin (2-2.5KG, US$168+), features tender, blushing meat paired with onion gravy and hearty roasted vegetables.

Meat enthusiasts can also savor the Slow Roasted Rosemary Cumin Lamb Leg (3-3.5KG, US$148+), infused with fragrant spices for a juicy, gaminess-free experience.

For smaller gatherings, the Mini Buffet Takeaway Feast costs $198+ for 5 pax or US$375+ for 10 pax, featuring dishes like artisanal cheeses, Angus beef stew, and Christmas fruit cake.

Larger groups (30+ pax) can enjoy the Starlight Buffet Feast (US$28+ per pax) or the premium Enchanted Buffet Feast (US$38+ per pax). Both options include a wide selection of appetizers, mains, desserts, and festive beverages, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all.
