Artcaffé, OPPO partner in promotion campaign

KENYA – Café and restaurant chain Artcaffé has entered into a strategic partnership with leading smart device manufacturer OPPO for the Oppo Fest with Artcaffé promotion, set to run until December 31.

Consumers purchasing select OPPO devices from authorized retailers between November 15 and December 31, 2024, will be eligible to enter a prize draw for a 15-day dining experience at Artcaffé.

The promotion, aimed at enhancing customer engagement, is part of a collaborative campaign by OPPO and Artcaffé, blending technology and hospitality.

The campaign will include a joint social media initiative where customers are encouraged to share their joyful moments at Artcaffé through photos or videos.

To qualify, participants must tag both OPPO Kenya and Artcaffé in their posts and include the hashtag “Artcaffé x OPPO: Perfect Brew.” Winners will be selected biweekly to receive meal vouchers for Artcaffé, alongside discounts on OPPO products.

OPPO will implement a raffle system where each qualifying device purchase provides an entry into the grand prize draw.

The winners will be awarded a 15-day dining experience at Artcaffé, with meal vouchers issued by the brand. It is important to note that the prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Additionally, OPPO clarifies that the use of specific brands as prizes does not imply any affiliation or endorsement beyond the partnership terms.

Participants are responsible for providing accurate contact information, as incomplete or incorrect details may result in disqualification. OPPO will not assume liability for issues arising from such inaccuracies.

This promotion aligns with Artcaffé’s broader corporate strategy of fostering meaningful partnerships while expanding its presence in Kenya.

In line with this approach, Artcaffé recently collaborated with fintech company Wagewell to enhance employee financial well-being through Wagewell’s innovative On-Demand Pay solution.

This solution allows Artcaffé’s 1,700 employees to access up to 40% of their earned wages before payday without imposing costs on the employer.

Using a simple USSD platform, employees can request immediate payouts to their mobile money accounts, bypassing lengthy approval processes. Unlike high-interest lending, this service charges a nominal, ATM-like fee per withdrawal.

The withdrawn amounts are automatically deducted from the employee’s next paycheck and reconciled with Wagewell, ensuring smooth repayment while maintaining Artcaffé’s payroll stability.

This initiative demonstrates Artcaffé’s commitment to both employee welfare and customer engagement through innovative partnerships.
