David Kelly appointed Tamoka’s new General Manager

UAE – Award winning beach dining restaurant Tamoka at The Ritz-Carlton, JBR has announced the promotion of David Kelly as its new General Manager.

David Kelly’s promotion takes effect immediately.

With over 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry, David has played a crucial role in Tamoka’s growth, combining his operational expertise with a deep passion for guest satisfaction.

David joined Tamoka in 2022 as the Beverage Manager, where he made significant strides in enhancing the venue’s beverage offerings.

He introduced innovative cocktail creations, seasonal menus, and sustainability-focused initiatives, which have become key highlights of the venue’s identity.

Additionally, David successfully led a team of more than 40 staff members, balancing efficient cost management with top-tier service. His achievements in this role have laid a strong foundation for his new position as General Manager.

In this capacity, David will focus on further solidifying Tamoka’s reputation as one of Dubai’s premier dining destinations.

David commented on his appointment by saying, “This is not just a career milestone for me, but a testament to the amazing team and culture we’ve cultivated at Tamoka. David’s journey began in Belfast, where he honed his customer service and operational skills in high-volume venues.

As the General Manager of Liquorxxx, he launched a Latin American-inspired cocktail bar, using creative campaigns and staff development programs to drive customer engagement.

His commitment to mentorship and innovation has been a constant throughout his career, contributing to the success of every venue he has led.
