Foodics named official tech sponsor of Million Pound Menu

MIDDLE EAST – Leading restaurant fintench and management software provider Foodics has been named technology partner for the Million Pound Menu program, the ultimate battleground for aspiring restaurateurs to secure funding.

The Million Pound Menu program, dedicated to food entrepreneurs, offers participants the opportunity to pitch their concepts to top investors in hopes of securing funding. The show will soon debut in the Middle East on MBC Egypt and the Shahid streaming platform.

He added that Foodics’ advanced systems will allow participants to operate with ease and flexibility, while also strengthening the position of Saudi companies in the region and globally.

Ahmad Luxor, Co-founder and CEO of Innovative Media Production (IMP), the production company behind Million Pound Menu, emphasized the program’s focus on supporting the region’s restaurant sector with forward-thinking initiatives.

Through the partnership, contestants will receive training on Foodics’ systems to enhance operational efficiency, reduce errors, and improve customer experience, ultimately boosting their chances of attracting investment.

This partnership comes on the heels of Foodics securing $170 million in a funding round backed by the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) through Sanabil Investments, further establishing Foodics as a global leader in the F&B technology sector.

The Million Pound Menu program, now airing for the first time in Egypt and the Middle East, offers aspiring entrepreneurs a competitive platform to present their ideas and business plans to prominent investors, whether they are launching new ventures or seeking to expand established restaurants.

The programme’s goal is to help these entrepreneurs achieve their dreams and develop their projects by obtaining the necessary funding and support.
