Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort reveals new look with guest-centric focus

UAE – Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort in Dubai has recently completed a major renovation, offering a fresh new look to its iconic beachfront property.

The resort, which has been a landmark for over 28 years, has collaborated with M Atelier, a renowned design firm, to bring modern sophistication to the property while preserving its established legacy.

Mohamed El Aghoury, the resort’s multi-property general manager, explained that the redesign is part of Marriott International’s global initiative to update Sheraton hotels worldwide.

“The new spaces have been carefully designed to align with Sheraton’s brand guidelines, blending modern sophistication with the welcoming spirit of our beachfront location,” said El Aghoury.

The decision to renovate after nearly three decades was driven by the need to stay ahead of guests’ changing expectations.

“We wanted to ensure the resort’s continued appeal by offering modern amenities and a refreshed design, all while keeping the essence of hospitality that our guests have come to love,” he added.

The resort’s redesign puts a strong emphasis on comfort, connectivity, and style. El Aghoury pointed out that the redesigned rooms and suites feature calming sand tones and natural textures that echo the beauty of the beach.

The addition of the latest technology allows guests to enjoy seamless and efficient stays, whether for business or leisure.

“The transformation beautifully blends contemporary design with modern amenities, creating an atmosphere where guests can relax and connect,” said El Aghoury.

One of the main focal points of the redesign is the resort’s reimagined lobby, now designed to foster a sense of community. With spaces like The Booth and Studios, the lobby has become a dynamic area where guests can meet, relax, or socialize.

Sheraton JBR’s culinary offerings have also been refreshed. Seafield Mediterranean Eatery now serves vibrant Mediterranean dishes, while &More by Sheraton offers a casual all-day menu.

For those seeking a livelier atmosphere, there are options like Black Goose Buns & Brews, a sports bar, and Bliss Lounge, a chic beach lounge. The resort also retains specialty restaurants such as Peacock for Chinese cuisine and Al Hadiqa for Levantine fare.

The extensive renovations have also enhanced the resort’s recreational facilities. Guests can enjoy a private beach, a temperature-controlled pool, and updated fitness facilities.

Activities like beach volleyball, water sports, and table tennis are available for all guests, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

Despite the challenges posed by the renovation process, Sheraton JBR remained committed to providing a high standard of service throughout.

“We ensured that all areas continued to operate smoothly while we worked on the renovation. Our team did an incredible job of maintaining Sheraton’s renowned hospitality standards,” said El Aghoury.

The resort’s ability to stay fully operational during the renovation process speaks to its dedication to guests’ comfort and satisfaction.
