Katalyst expands capabilities, tracks 200 restaurant KPIs to give clients valuable insights

USA – Restaurant management platform Katalyst has enhanced its functionality by monitoring 200 key performance indicators (KPIs), allowing restaurant owners in the US to optimize operations and boost profitability.

Katalyst’s new capabilities equip restaurant owners with real-time insights to boost profits and minimize waste.

Co-founded by industry veterans Dan Roland, Bill Roland, Cole Dillon, and software expert Scott Bleczinski, the platform was designed to address the pressing need for efficient restaurant management tools.

Drawing from their experience as owners of three Massachusetts-based restaurants, the founders created Katalyst to meet the complex demands of modern operations.

The platform integrates essential functions—such as point-of-sale, loyalty programs, and inventory management—into a single system, eliminating the hassle of using multiple tools. This streamlined approach not only simplifies operations but also reduces costs associated with software licensing.

Through a strategic partnership with payment processing firm Fiserv, Katalyst provides users access to some of the industry’s most competitive processing rates.

Built on Apple’s iOS and compatible with user-friendly iPads, the software enhances operational efficiency while simplifying staff training.

One standout feature is Katalyst’s advanced modifier system, designed to accommodate customer preferences and elevate service standards.

Additionally, its real-time update capability ensures that unavailable items are promptly removed from both physical and digital menus, maintaining service quality and minimizing customer dissatisfaction.

Katalyst also prioritizes personalized support by assigning each client a dedicated account manager with in-depth industry expertise.

This proactive approach to customer service sets it apart from the often impersonal assistance provided by outsourced teams

Dan Roland, Katalyst’s co-founder, emphasized the platform’s unique value, “Our solution stands apart because it’s built on firsthand experience of the challenges faced by restaurant owners.” He added, “Katalyst isn’t just software; it’s a comprehensive solution developed from decades of expertise in both the restaurant and technology sectors.”

Chief Experience Officer Cole Dillon highlighted the platform’s adaptability, “Katalyst offers unparalleled flexibility, whether managing a single location or a regional chain, while delivering exceptional functionality.”

By combining integrated features, powerful analytics, and robust support, Katalyst is setting a new benchmark for restaurant technology solutions.
