Novotel Riyadh Al Wurud Scheduled to Open in 2028

SAUDI ARABIA – Accor, a global hospitality leader, has confirmed the upcoming addition of Novotel Riyadh Al Wurud, set to welcome guests in 2028.

This new venture is a joint effort with Saleh Abdulaziz Al Rajhi Partners & Co Ltd, a prominent name in Saudi Arabia’s real estate development sector.

Located strategically on King Abdullah Branch Road, the hotel is designed to cater to the needs of both business and leisure travelers.

The hotel’s location provides convenient access to some of Riyadh’s most significant commercial and recreational landmarks.

Close to Olaya Road, King Fahad Road, and the King Abdullah Financial District, Novotel Riyadh Al Wurud is also within reach of attractions like Diriyah Gate, the Diplomatic Quarter, and King Salman Park. This positioning aims to serve short-term visitors as well as families and long-term guests.

“We are excited to bring the Novotel experience to Riyadh,” said a representative from Accor. “This project reflects our commitment to expanding our presence in key markets while offering spaces that balance work and relaxation.”

The property will feature 225 units, including 160 hotel rooms and 65 serviced apartments. These accommodations are tailored for short stays and extended visits alike, catering to diverse guest needs.

In addition, the hotel will house a range of facilities, including a restaurant, a lobby lounge, and 750 square meters of banqueting and meeting spaces.

For wellness enthusiasts, Novotel Riyadh Al Wurud will offer amenities such as a sauna, steam rooms, and treatment areas, ensuring a holistic guest experience.

The announcement of Novotel Riyadh Al Wurud follows closely on the heels of recent openings by the brand. Barely a month ago, Novotel unveiled its modern hotel in Abidjan’s Marcory district, showcasing its continued growth in West Africa.

This 17-story property combines convenience and innovation, underscoring Novotel’s commitment to providing thoughtful designs in emerging markets.

Additionally, Novotel Nairobi Westlands recently opened, further reinforcing the brand’s active role in the evolving hospitality landscape of East Africa.

Nairobi has become a focal point for global hotel chains, with new developments enhancing the city’s tourism appeal.

Novotel Riyadh Al Wurud aims to blend modern comfort with strategic convenience, promising a welcoming space for its future guests.
