UAE – Leading fast food chain McDonald’s UAE has launched a new chicken burger, the McCrispy chicken burger.
McDonald’s has introduced the McCrispy in the UAE, featuring a 100% chicken breast fillet, fresh lettuce, and smoky mayonnaise served in a soft potato bun.
The new menu item is now available across all McDonald’s outlets in the UAE and through the McDonald’s app.
To mark the launch, McDonald’s UAE will release an interactive game on its app on December 18, 2024, offering exclusive weekly promotions.
The brand, which has been operating in the UAE since 1994, now runs over 200 restaurants in the region. McDonald’s UAE underscores its commitment to food safety and quality, which extends to its McCafé range.
McDonald’s UAE CEO Walid Fakih stated that the McCrispy reflects the company’s dedication to delivering innovative menu options.
He emphasized that the new offering is designed to enhance customer experiences with high-quality flavors, adding that McDonald’s is thrilled to introduce the McCrispy to UAE customers.
“We continually strive to bring our customers innovative menu items that delight their taste buds, and this new offering is a testament to our dedication to quality and flavor,” he said.
This launch aligns with McDonald’s strategy to cater to a diverse customer base by regularly introducing unique products. For instance, in October 2024, McDonald’s launched the Chicken Big Mac in the US.
This variation of the classic Big Mac features two tempura-battered chicken patties instead of beef, while retaining the familiar toppings.
McDonald’s clarified that the Chicken Big Mac would be available only for a limited period, subject to availability.
Tariq Hassan, Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer for McDonald’s USA, remarked that the Chicken Big Mac pays homage to the original Big Mac while introducing it to a new audience.
He highlighted how McDonald’s engages with fans through contemporary trends, offering more than just a sandwich.
In another development, McDonald’s announced the return of the Snack Wrap to its US menu in December 2024.
The Snack Wrap, which debuted in 2006 and was discontinued in 2016, includes chicken, lettuce, and cheese wrapped in a tortilla, catering to fans eager for its revival after an eight-year hiatus.
