SAUDI ARABIA – Supply chain service provider SCG International has launched Siam Signature, a premium Thai food service brand at Tamimi Markets – An Nuzhah.
The launch of Siam Signature marked the introduction of premium Thai products to the Saudi Arabian market, offering a range of culinary delights that reflect Thailand’s rich culinary heritage.
This initiative, backed by SCG International, brings some of Thailand’s most renowned food brands to Saudi consumers.
They include Doi Kham, a sustainable brand supported by Thai royalty, known for its exceptional quality; Thai Aree, which simplifies the preparation of traditional Thai dishes with ready-made sauces and meal kits; Raimaijon, a pioneer in pasteurized sugarcane juice production; and Vena, a brand offering Halal-certified snacks catering to diverse tastes.
The event, held on December 14, was attended by prominent figures such as His Excellency Mr. Darm Boontham, the Thai Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and senior executives from Tamimi Markets, emphasizing the launch’s significance in strengthening Thai-Saudi cultural and economic ties.
Mr. Darm Boontham highlighted the importance of the event, describing it as a reflection of the growing cooperation between Thailand and Saudi Arabia.
He noted that Thai cuisine, known for its rich and balanced flavors, has long been one of Thailand’s most beloved cultural exports.
The launch of Siam Signature, he said, serves as a bridge to bring the depth of Thai flavors and heritage to Saudi consumers, showcasing Thailand’s innovation and commitment to excellence.
Mr. Ayham Nasser, National Head of Customer Experience at Tamimi Markets, expressed pride in the partnership with SCG International, noting that it aligns with their vision of delivering the best global flavors to Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Abhijit Datta, Managing Director of SCG International, emphasized that Siam Signature embodies Thailand’s culinary traditions and reflects SCG International’s dedication to providing premium products.
He added that this collaboration will meet the rising demand for authentic international food products in Saudi Arabia, marking a transformative step for the company.
The Siam Signature concept was created in June 2024, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at introducing premium Thai and Asian flavors to Saudi Arabia.
This partnership involves the consolidation and supply of food and beverage products to Tamimi Markets, as well as ensuring compliance with local regulations to streamline the supply chain.
This initiative represents a key milestone in SCG International’s expansion strategy into the SAMEA region, building on its success in construction materials and now entering the food and beverage sector. Siam Signature is poised to make a lasting impact on the Saudi Arabian food scene.
