SEVEN unveils plans for US$350M entertainment destination in Jazan

SAUDI ARABIA – Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN), a subsidiary of Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) under the Public Investment Fund (PIF), has revealed plans to invest SAR 1.3 billion (US$350 million) in a new entertainment destination in the Jazan region.

The development contract for a new entertainment destination in Jazan has been awarded to Alfanar Projects, advancing SEVEN’s mission to deliver exceptional entertainment across Saudi Arabia.

The new venue is located adjacent to North Corniche Park along the Jazan waterfront, the venue will offer easy access to the city center for both residents and visitors.

Spanning over 60,000 square meters of land with 73,000 square meters of built-up space, the project will feature a range of entertainment and recreational facilities tailored to the community.

Abdullah Nasser AlDawood, Chairman of SEVEN, expressed excitement about the development, saying, “This destination reflects our commitment to enhancing Saudi Arabia’s entertainment offering and improving the quality of life for communities across the Kingdom.”

“It celebrates Jazan’s unique natural beauty and rich cultural heritage, offering exceptional leisure experiences for residents and visitors alike.”

Designed by Gensler, a global architecture and planning firm, the project draws inspiration from Jazan’s natural landscapes, incorporating elements from the Red Sea coastline, the region’s rugged mountain ranges, and the fragrant jasmine flowers that define the area.

The venue will offer a variety of attractions, including an indoor golf course for beginners and experienced players, a family-friendly entertainment district with thrill rides, and a state-of-the-art cinema complex with multiple theatres.

For adrenaline seekers, an electric karting track inspired by Hot Wheels will provide an exciting racing experience. Discovery Adventures will also host an indoor adventure center for children, offering hands-on, creative activities.

Complementing the attractions, a variety of local and international dining options, cafes, restaurants, and retail outlets will round out the experience.

SEVEN is also introducing cutting-edge entertainment experiences across the Kingdom. Hot Wheels electric karting tracks will soon appear in cities such as Riyadh, Makkah, and Al Madinah.

Additionally, the company has signed agreements with FlowRider, Inc. to introduce Flowhouse attractions, offering unique surfing activities, and with Formula E for the world’s first Formula E karting attractions, promoting eco-friendly entertainment.
