Mövenpick Wa’ad Al Shamal opens in northern Saudi Arabia

SAUDI ARABIA – Swiss hotel management company Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has opened its latest hospitality concept Mövenpick Wa’ad Al Shamal.

Mövenpick has brought its renowned hospitality to Wa’ad Al Shamal, a key economic and industrial hub integral to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiatives.

Mövenpick Wa’ad Al Shamal boasts 245 rooms and suites, including two Presidential Suites that combine modern design with exceptional comfort.

The property also features 18 advanced meeting rooms and expansive banquet facilities, making it an ideal destination for conferences, corporate events, and special occasions. 

Dining at the hotel offers five distinct culinary experiences. Yasmeen Restaurant presents a vibrant mix of Saudi and international cuisines with a contemporary flair, while Zafaran Restaurant highlights the rich culinary traditions of Türkiye with an authentic menu.

Guests can enjoy light bites and signature drinks at the Oasis Pool Bar in a relaxed poolside setting.

The Flora Lobby Lounge offers Mövenpick’s signature coffee blends, pastries, and the daily Mövenpick Chocolate Hour, an immersive chocolate-tasting experience for visitors of all ages. 

The property emphasizes fostering local talent, with over 55% of its workforce comprising Saudi nationals.

This aligns with national goals to empower the local workforce and reflects the hotel’s commitment to meaningful community engagement.
