Talabat Egypt honors riders for second year in a row

EGYPT – Leading ecommerce and food delivery platform Talabat Egypt has honored its best performing riders with various prizes for the second year in a row at the Riders Appreciation Event as part of the company’s Riders Appreciation Month.

The Riders Appreciation Event hosted by talabat Egypt celebrated the dedication and contributions of its rider network, with 300 attendees and 160 individuals honored across categories such as best performance, seniority, female riders, 3PLs, and T-Patrollers.

The event highlighted talabat’s commitment to fostering a safe, supportive work environment while acknowledging the riders’ contributions to the national economy and aligning with Egypt’s *Vision 2030* for sustainable development. 

In collaboration with partners Shell Lubricants Egypt, GB Auto, and HealthTag, several valuable prizes were distributed. Shell Lubricants Egypt provided oil packages for all attendees and partnered with GB Auto to award motorcycles to top-performing riders.

HealthTag extended one-year free subscriptions on its health-focused app to enhance riders’ well-being. Additionally, discount vouchers worth up to EGP 5,000 were distributed, fostering motivation and reinforcing partnerships. 

Reinforcing its focus on healthcare, talabat Egypt signed an MoU with HealthTag, developed by Bypa-ss, a provider of digital medical services.

Under this agreement, riders and four family members will receive free annual subscriptions, along with discounts of up to 50% on healthcare expenses, including pharmacy, laboratory, and hospital services. 

The event underscored talabat Egypt’s leadership in the technology and e-commerce sectors, with initiatives designed to empower its workforce and strengthen community ties.

The platform remains a pioneer in offering comprehensive life and accident insurance for riders in partnership with logistics providers.

Additionally, initiatives such as Road Safety Week aim to enhance rider safety through awareness programs and access to specialized legal support during emergencies.
