SAUDI ARABIA – Leading catering service provider CATRION Catering has revealed it has signed a strategic 5-year contract with Riyadh Air, making the catering company the primary catering service provider for the airline.
Under the terms of this agreement, CATRION Catering Holding Company will provide Riyadh Air with meals, beverages, and a range of additional support services for both domestic and international flights, with the contract valued at SAR 2.3 billion (US$612.7 million).
The company anticipates that this partnership will positively influence its financial results starting from the end of the fourth quarter of 2025.
CATRION expects to see significant benefits from the anticipated growth in Riyadh Air’s fleet, flight operations, and passenger traffic, which will support the company’s expansion, improve cash flow, and diversify its sources of income.
This agreement is a strategic move for CATRION, aligning with the company’s sustainability goals and its efforts to strengthen its role in the aviation sector.
The partnership will help position Riyadh as a key global aviation hub, supporting the wider vision of Saudi Arabia’s transformation as outlined in Vision 2030.
By supporting Riyadh Air’s growth and expanding its footprint, CATRION is further solidifying its position in the market and contributing to the kingdom’s efforts to become a leading global aviation destination.
In addition to enhancing operational capabilities, the contract marks a new chapter in service diversification for CATRION, which continues to focus on innovation and excellence in operations.

He reiterated that CATRION is fully prepared to meet Riyadh Air’s expectations, maintaining its position as the leading provider of aircraft catering services in Saudi Arabia.
Adam Boukadida, Chief Financial Officer of Riyadh Air, also commented on the agreement by saying, “Our food and beverage offering, both in the air and on the ground, is hugely important for our guests and we aim to set a high benchmark for everyone who travels with Riyadh Air.”
Currently, CATRION serves over 100 local and international airlines at airports across the country, making it the preferred partner for in-flight catering services.
