Epik Foods opens four new Healthy & Co. outlets

SAUDI ARABIA – Leading food and beverage company Epik Foods has announced it has expanded its footprint in Saudi Arabia with the inauguration of four Healthy & Co. brick-and-mortar restaurants.

The new Healthy & Co outlets are located at Stars Avenue and Lulu Hypermarket in Marwah, Jeddah, Sadeen Plaza in Khobar, and Saudi German Hospital in Riyadh.

This growth aligns with the company’s strategy to introduce innovative, lifestyle-driven dining experiences throughout the Kingdom.

Following its successful entry into the Saudi market in January 2024 and the July 2024 debut of its first Healthy & Co location in Sahafah, Riyadh, Epik Foods is leveraging its recent SAR 58.1 million (US$15.5 million) funding from Ruya Private Capital I, LP, managed by Ruya Partners.

The capital will support key acquisitions and provide working capital to expand Epik Foods’ diverse portfolio and introduce new concepts across the region.

The expansion into Jeddah and Khobar was facilitated through a strategic partnership with GymNation, whose customer base aligns with Healthy & Co’s brand ethos. GymNation’s initial Saudi locations in these cities made them ideal for this collaboration.

The new outlets will offer a variety of options, including live salad bars, Grab & Go meals, and subscription-based meal plans, catering to GymNation members and the general public.

Exclusive benefits, such as competitive pricing on select items, will be available to GymNation members.

Additionally, all four locations will provide delivery services, broadening access to fresh, wholesome meals.

Khaled Fadly, CEO and Co-founder of Epik Foods, highlighted the strong response in Riyadh, emphasizing the growing demand for concepts like Healthy & Co across the Kingdom.

He noted that Jeddah and Khobar, with their vibrant food and wellness communities, present significant opportunities for growth.

Fadly expressed the company’s commitment to bridging the gap between fitness and food by offering holistic solutions that make healthy living accessible and convenient. He reaffirmed Epik Foods’ dedication to delivering innovative dining experiences that resonate with local communities.

Looking ahead, Epik Foods plans to open a sixth Healthy & Co location in Riyadh’s Qurtoba area, continuing its partnership with GymNation.

This expansion underscores Epik Foods’ leadership in the F&B sector, offering modern consumers innovative concepts that align with contemporary lifestyle trends.
