UAE – Leading food delivery platform Deliveroo has entered into a collaboration with the Bread for All initiative by Mohammed bin Rashid Global Centre for Endowment Consultancy which allows customers donate meals to vulnerable families during check out.
By utilizing its in-app round-up feature, Deliveroo now enables customers to easily contribute to a meaningful cause, supporting communities throughout the UAE.
This collaboration builds on Deliveroo’s Full Life campaign, which aims to address global food insecurity, and aligns with the company’s broader Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy.
Customers can make donations effortlessly at checkout while placing an order on the Deliveroo app. The round-up feature allows users to donate either a small set amount or a custom amount directly to the Bread for All initiative, eliminating the need to visit a separate charity page.
This user-friendly option is designed to encourage higher engagement, offering convenience while generating a significant impact.
All funds raised through the feature will go directly to supporting Bread for All’s efforts to provide fresh bread to those in need across the UAE.
Taghrid Oraibi, Head of Communications at Deliveroo Middle East, commented that the company’s mission has always been to create a positive difference for those in need.
Through the collaboration with Bread for All, Deliveroo’s Full Life campaign has made donating easier for customers and more impactful for local communities.
