Dusit International to manage two new Dusit Princess Hotels in Mindanao with IDC Prime

PHILIPPINES – Dusit International, a prominent Thai hotel and property development firm, has entered into hotel management agreements with IDC Prime to manage two new hotels in Northern Mindanao under Dusit’s upper-midscale Dusit Princess brand.

Scheduled to open in late 2029, Dusit Princess Moena will be a standout addition to Moena Mountain Estate, a sustainability-focused, mixed-use development located in the forested mountains of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, near the Mount Kitanglad Range Natural Park.

The 184-key hotel is designed to blend harmoniously with its natural surroundings and will cater to both business and leisure travelers.

The hotel will feature premium amenities, including a lobby lounge, business center, all-day dining restaurant, outdoor pool, fully equipped gym, yoga room, and versatile multipurpose spaces.

Dahilayan, often referred to as theBaguio of Mindanao,is already a popular destination for nature lovers, thanks to its scenic mountain views, cool climate, and numerous outdoor activities.

Dusit Princess Moena aims to enhance the area’s appeal with its modern accommodations and wide range of services.

The hotel will complement existing attractions such as the Dahilayan Adventure Park and the expansive Del Monte Pineapple plantations.

Further north, another Dusit Princess hotel is slated to open in late 2029 as part of the IDC’s Firenze Green Tower project in the Limketkai area of Cagayan de Oro, near the city’s commercial and business districts.

This 14-story, mixed-use green development will integrate commercial, residential, and hotel spaces. Dusit will manage 180 rooms on the tower’s upper floors, offering guests exceptional views and high standards of service.

The project will also include a range of premium amenities, including a gym, spa, multipurpose spaces, commercial facilities, and a swimming pool.

Gilles Cretallaz, Chief Operating Officer of Dusit International, expressed excitement about collaborating with IDC Prime to expand the brand’s presence in the Philippines.

He highlighted the country’s growing economy and tourism sector as key drivers for innovation, emphasizing Dusit’s commitment to providing meaningful guest experiences while creating value for local communities.

Both the Firenze Green Tower and Moena Mountain Estate are joint ventures between IDC and the Go family, the original site owners.

By adding hotel components, these developments will elevate the appeal of Dusit Princess Moena and Dusit Princess Firenze as destination landmarks.
