SAUDI ARABIA – Leading global hotel brand Hilton Hotels & Resorts has partnered with the Saudi Tourism Authority in an engaging outreach campaign meant to showcase the country’s diverse hospitality and tourism offerings.
In a groundbreaking collaboration, short films and photos have been created to showcase the unique destinations of Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Ula, Makkah, and Madinah.
These visuals invite viewers to explore the country’s exceptional sites.
This initiative builds on the success of last year’s partnership between Hilton and the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), which produced engaging seasonal content, and is now being rolled out internationally across regions including the Middle East, South Africa, the UK, Germany, Italy, France, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
The announcement follows the 2023 signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Hilton and STA to explore ways to cooperate in promoting Saudi Arabia and attracting tourists in alignment with Vision 2030.
Hilton’s expansion plans also continue, with over 70 hotels under development, adding more than 18,000 rooms to its portfolio, and creating over 15,000 hospitality jobs in the Kingdom, with more than half of these roles being filled by Saudi nationals.
The content, accessible for viewing, offers a glimpse of the Saudi experience, allowing potential visitors to immerse themselves in the Kingdom before their arrival.
It highlights the country’s key destinations, from the spiritual significance of its holy cities and the historical richness of Diriyah, to the beauty of ancient oases and Saudi Arabia’s diverse landscapes.
The campaign invites travelers to experience the best of Saudi Arabia, with Hilton hotels like Waldorf Astoria Jeddah – Qasr Al Sharq, Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residences, and Conrad Makkah, offering exceptional hospitality and comfort.
Hilton currently operates 21 hotels in the Kingdom, including the recently opened Hilton Riyadh Olaya and The Hotel Galleria Jeddah, Curio Collection by Hilton.
The company plans to expand its presence to over 100 hotels in Saudi Arabia in the coming years.
Hilton’s development pipeline includes agreements with Dan Company, a Public Investment Fund entity, to open three resorts at Al Ahsa, Rua Al Madinah Holding for three properties at Rua Al Madinah, and Taiba Investments to launch the first Waldorf Astoria in Madinah.
Established in June 2020, STA is tasked with marketing Saudi Arabia’s tourism offerings worldwide and enhancing its appeal through programs, packages, and business support.
