Radisson Hotel Group signs agreement for Radisson Blu Resort in Murree, Pakistan

PAKISTANRadisson Hotel Group has announced the signing of the Radisson Blu Resort in Murree, Pakistan, set to open in 2026, marking a new milestone in its global expansion of premium resorts.

The Radisson Blu Resort, Murree is set to feature 50 villas and 170 elegantly designed rooms, including 21 Junior Suites and Suites that focus on providing the highest level of comfort.

Located 20 kilometers from Murree’s center, near Patriata (also known as New Murree), the resort is surrounded by lush alpine trees and offers stunning views of the Pir Panjal Mountain range.

This setting provides a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, making it an ideal destination for both leisure and outdoor activities.

Murree, famous for its towering mountains and scenic landscapes, serves as a beautiful backdrop for the resort. Its cool climate and natural charm continue to draw visitors from across the globe to this celebrated hill station.

The resort offers an extensive range of amenities, in line with Radisson Blu’s commitment to creating memorable experiences.

These include an indoor swimming pool with a deck and pool bar, a variety of dining options, a banquet hall, a wellness center, a kids’ club, and several retail outlets.

Located just 98 kilometers (around a 2-hour drive) from Islamabad International Airport, the resort offers easy access while providing a peaceful retreat from the busy city life.

The Radisson Blu Resort, Murree is a significant addition to Radisson Hotel Group’s expanding portfolio in Pakistan.

Aleem Malik, CEO of Signature Resort, expressed excitement over the partnership with Radisson Hotel Group, confident that the resort will be a key driver for tourism and elevate the standard of hospitality in the country.

Elie Milky, Vice President of Development for the Middle East, Greece, Cyprus, and Pakistan at Radisson Hotel Group, remarked that they were thrilled to bring the Radisson Blu brand to Murree, a renowned mountain destination.

He emphasized that the resort would not only contribute to the growing portfolio of Radisson Blu resorts but also demonstrate their commitment to partnering with investors in developing world-class hospitality properties, including mountain resorts.

The property is expected to open in 2026.
