Rotana appoints Nada Sheshtawy as Chief Commercial Officer

MENAT – Rotana, a leading hotel operator in the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Türkiye (MENAT) region, has announced the appointment of Nada Sheshtawy as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

Nada Sheshtawy brings almost 30 years of experience to her new role, having held prominent positions with renowned global hospitality brands like Starwood, Ritz-Carlton, Swissôtel, Movenpick, Wyndham, Taj, and Rotana Hotels & Resorts.

Philip Barnes, CEO of Rotana, expressed his excitement about Nada’s appointment, noting that her leadership, vision, and commitment to promoting women in leadership roles would drive growth, foster inclusivity, and inspire the team.

He emphasized that her contributions would play a pivotal role in the company’s growth and in delivering “Treasured Time” for guests.

Nada will oversee Rotana’s commercial strategies, focusing on driving revenue growth, enhancing market share, and expanding the company’s reach across its 82 operational hotels.

Her expertise spans sales, revenue, marketing, and branding across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia, underscoring her visionary leadership and passion for innovation.

Rotana currently manages over 118 properties in the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Türkiye, with a clear expansion strategy in place.
